## What Zoey OS is

- A downloadable desktop app (macOS and Windows) at https://zoeyos.com/download
- One AI with persistent, visible memory. There is no new chat. Spoken and
  typed exchanges belong to one continuous conversation.
- Zoey's memory lives in her brain, a navigable place in the app. What she
  knows about you is shown in plain language and can be corrected or
  removed by you.
- Machine access is granted deliberately through explicit permission steps.
  Work stays visible while it runs, sensitive actions wait for approval,
  and credentials are off-limits to automation by design.
- Delegation without management: workers appear when a real task starts and
  dissolve when the result lands. You never configure or supervise a roster
  of separate agents.
- Optional abilities can be added from the marketplace as your needs grow.

## What Zoey OS is not

- Not a chatbot that resets between sessions
- Not a workflow builder that asks you to wire nodes and triggers
- Not a cloud sandbox working on a copy of your accounts and files
- Not a fleet of named agents for you to manage
